


Grenache Nouveau 2024 (Chilled Red)
750mL. 12.7% ALC/VOL. Approximately 7.7 Standard drinks. Vegan. Contains minimal sulphites.
Our second rendition of the Grenache Nouveau is now a true to form chilled red - huge smashability, funky confectionary components, and some thoughtful edginess.
We kept half of the fruit for carbonic maceration; whole bunches, left in the bins they were picked into for 4 weeks & topped up with CO2 daily to keep them fresh, whilst they fermented IN their own skins. This gives that awesome bubble gum and raspberry lolly character, whilst keeping it exceptionally soft.
The other half was a 50% submerged whole bunch fermentation with light extraction daily for 1 week, pressed off whilst still fermenting. Some light fluffy tannin, bright red hue and smashing aromatics.
Made for soaking up the sun by the water!
