Single vineyard Pinot Gris from Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsula of Geelong. Reflecting the crisp ocean breeze and relaxed coastal attitude. Cool climate, dry grown vines on loamy sand lends to naturally low crop levels, and a mix of heritage clones gives great energy and complexity. Our vineyard is a tiny 2 acre block and grown exclusively for Harbinger.
In the winery we strive for heightened aromatic expression, balanced with respect to natural delicacy. Whole bunches chilled then pressed, 3 day cold settle, some very light lees into a temperature-controlled ferment, running slow and low for 3-4 weeks to complete dryness.

Honeysuckle, mandarin, maple, grapefruit.
Palate
Textural and linear, nectarine, honey, and blossom. Lush back palate with quenching acid. Crisp, slatey finish.
