A Syrah true to it’s word; Spice driven, tannin conscious, red-fruit and savoury. Picked from the top of the Landsborough vineyard in the Pyrenees ranges, from the most awarded section of the vineyard.
We kept 20% as submerged whole bunches, light cap management and 2 weeks extended maceration. Pressed to 20% new barriques and a seasoned puncheon. Racked early, then returned to barrel for 9 months maturation.
Vibrant and playful with chewy tannin, structural acidity and broody intensity.

Plum, oak spice, gamey reduction.
Palate
Savoury, plum, blackberry, cruchy acid, lively tannin, black pepper, toasted spices.
