Our ‘Best Red of season’. The first release and highly anticipated Pinot Noir from our vineyard in Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsula. Cool climate dry grown vines on loamy sand lends to naturally low crop levels with an unparalleled intensity. Our vineyard is a tiny 2 acre block and grown exclusively for Harbinger.
In the winery we wanted to create an earthy vibrant style Pinot noir with the classic saline characteristics to reflect the location and environment. Matured in 50% puncheons and 50% barriques, giving it a full and juicy mid palate and the 30% whole bunch fermentation leaves a savoury herbal tone, with a black fruit acid finish
Fresh raspberries, toffee, forest floor, soft reduction
Cherry cola, blackcurrant, subtle tannin with a salty edge and fresh acid.
